FYC strongly recommends all members wear a PFD whenever there is a risk of entering the water unintentionally.

5. Use of compass in fog (determine bearing and fix before fog rolls in).

8. Distress & Sound Signals (personal flares, waving arms, whistles, fog sound signals).
9. Weather & Small Craft Warnings (C22 is not to be taken out when wind exceeds 20 knots per hour)
